Martha Cerna Air Force brat from El Paso, Texas, settled in Toppenish, Washington in 1971. Martha worked for Washington State, Department of Social and Health Services for 25 years, where she developed several multi-million dollar state and federal programs which are still effective. Martha then worked for an SBA funded woman’s business center where she helped establish a new office, developed several entrepreneurial programs, and obtained a $1,250,000 loan fund for her clients. Martha is CEO and founder of Washington Economic Sustainability Center facilitating financial sustainability through leadership, training, and strategic planning. Martha is one of the founders of the Puget Sound Latino Chamber of Commerce focusing on economic development, education and civic involvement.
